Pennard House is an idyllic country escape situated in the rolling Somerset countryside, offering couples a unique and beautiful setting for their special day. This Grade II listed Manor House is set in 4 acres of lush gardens and surrounded by 180 acres of meadows, woodlands and apple orchards.
With its picturesque views and endless photo opportunities, Pennard House is the perfect place for couples to capture their wedding day in stunning wedding photography.
As a family we have a particular attraction to this venue as for many years we grow up on the nearby Somerset Levels. Crossing over the boarder and heading down onto the sprawling flats of the levels always fills like traveling home.

Katie & Ayan
Somerset was always home for Katie, who was born and bred on the Somerset levels . It was for this reason that when the time came to plan their wedding day, Katie chose to drag Ayan her city savvy fiancé to the charms of sleepy Somerset.
This wedding lacked nothing for colour, sound and perhaps just little chaos. For their wedding in June of 2022 Katie and Ayan opted for a fusion wedding of many many cultures.

Jess & Matt’s wedding carried an effortlessly and uncomplicated simplicity. It was celebration that allowed for tender, quiet moments, a sincere and heartfelt chorus of friends and family and of course jubilant evening celebration and dance. It was in-itself the embodiment of a well executed west country wedding!

This exclusive use Grade II listed Manor House is set in 4 acres of lush gardens, surrounded by 180 acres of meadows, woodlands and apple orchards. There are grand reception rooms and luxury bedrooms, ideal for all manners of parties, as well as a converted Coach House event venue. Couples can take advantage of the outdoor and indoor spaces licensed for wedding ceremonies, or even opt for a church service, as the picturesque 14th Century village church is just across the lawn.
The Orchard Room Bridal Suite is also complimentary to the couple, complete with chandeliers, roll-top bath and exquisitely hand-painted murals, making it the perfect place for the bride to get ready and the couple to stay overnight. Guests can also be allocated rooms in the house, providing a truly home from home setting. For the wedding breakfast, the beautifully renovated Coach House offers ample room for 120 guests to sit and dine in comfort, savouring a superb, customised menu from The Pennard Kitchen.
