The South Coast of Dorset in known throughout the UK for its picture postcard scenes, the likes of which include Lulworth Cove’s Durdle Door, Lyme Regis harbour to name but a few. One jewell and often overllooked beach is that of Burton Bradstock. A stones throw from Bridport and easily accessible from many towns along the south coast. Burton Bradstock is certainly worth a visit - it makes the perfect location for an early evening engagement shoot.

In early June, following a string of postponement due to problematic English weather Mark, Rachel and I rocked up to a national trust car park virtually abandoned. The signs of a full days worth of holiday makers were clear, but aside from this the beach was practically empty, minus a few locals; fishing and walking their dogs. The wind was still, and the sun was low in the sky. The environment couldn’t have been more perfect.
